Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to rate8uk.com (the “Site”), operated as an independent editorial comparison project under the Rate8Uk brand. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, leave the Site and do not rely on its content.
1. Editorial nature of the Site
Rate8Uk publishes reviews, ratings, comparison tables and safer-gambling information about online casinos that hold a UK Gambling Commission licence. We are not a gambling operator. We do not provide gambling facilities, accept bets, hold player balances, or issue casino bonuses on this domain.
2. Eligibility
The Site is intended for adults aged 18 or over who are located in the United Kingdom. You must confirm your age through our gate before reading the main pages. Misrepresenting your age is a breach of these Terms.
3. No gambling services

4. Affiliate relationships

If you email us, you grant Rate8Uk a non-exclusive licence to use the content of that message to respond, improve editorial accuracy and keep records needed for legal compliance. Do not send unlawful material or other people’s sensitive data without a clear reason.
11. Third-party sites
Links to casinos, charities and regulators are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their availability, policies or losses you incur after leaving Rate8Uk.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or error-free content.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Rate8Uk is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or gambling losses arising from reliance on the Site or from visits to third-party operators. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Rate8Uk against claims arising from your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law, except where a claim results solely from our proven wrongdoing.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or withdraw the Site, remove pages, or refuse access where necessary for maintenance, legal compliance or abuse prevention. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers and liability limits) continue after access ends.
16. Privacy and cookies
Personal data handling is described in our Privacy Notice. Cookie and local-storage practices are described in our Cookies page. Those documents form part of the relationship between you and Rate8Uk.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK.
18. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms when products, law or editorial processes change. Material updates will refresh the date at the top of this page. Continued use after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
20. Operator independence
Featured brands such as BlueFox Casino, Griffon Casino, Midnite, Mr Jack Vegas and The Better Casino remain separate businesses. Rate8Uk does not employ their staff, set their odds, approve their bonuses or process their withdrawals. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the remaining clauses stay in force. Failure to enforce a provision once does not waive future enforcement.
